A Day In The Life of Isabel
Isabel hanging out on the couch and enjoying her H2O.

Helping Mom unpack the groceries.

After a long day of hanging out and running around we joined Anna Garlick for her surprise birthday party.

As you can see Isabel is a social butterfly. She's loves going up to everyone with her arms in the air saying, "Pick me up. Pick me up.". Here's a picture of Isabel with Heather and her husband Chris.

After a long night partying, she finishes with a bubble bath.

Trick or Treat
We went to trunk or treat at our church and Isabel loved it, she totally grasped the whole trick or treat concept, it was too cute. Of course it was a bit chilly and since her dress was cap sleeved we had her wear her jacket under it. Reminds me of Halloween in Wisconsin (tear).
If you can't tell Robbie dressed up as a cowboy and I'm a cowgirl! I had a hard time finding hats, but Robbie had a cool plastic cowboy gun! Ha!

Pictures
Here are some recent pictures....
Isabel and Dad in after playing outside in the rain.
She has started this new thing, where she climbs onto Robbie's foot and he walks around with her on his foot. She tries it with me, but my feet are too dainty :)
In our new apartment we have this little crawl space under the stairs, it's right across from the kitchen. It's officially Isabel's little play house. We keep all of her toys in there and it's just her size.
Here is an action shot of Isabel running towards the camera.
Isabel helping Mom go through her purse.
She also loves to help Mom with the mailbox keys.
Who needs fancy toys when you have an empty water bottle. She seriously sat on the kitchen floor forever just putting the cap on, than taking it off, etc...
She even uses it as a pillow. She was laying next to me doing this and I couldn't stop laughing.
Isabel and Dad playing at the park. We have an elementary school right in our backyard, and we love to go back there and play. It's so convenient.
There is also a metal climbing dome that Isabel thinks she can climb up.
Picking up leaves on the way back to the house.
Monkey
I always joke that Isabel is my little monkey, but the other day she proved me right. I had just put her down for a nap, so I quickly got into the shower. About 10 minutes later I got out and heard her making a lot of noise. At first I just thought that maybe she was playing with a toy in her crib, but than I heard her playing with toys that I knew weren't in her crib...I opened the door to see her out of her crib playing in her toy chest. WHAT ?!?!? Robbie must have come home early from lunch and this is a joke...he's going to pop out of the closet at any moment to scare me. After searching the house and yelling for Robbie, it was assumed that she had done this on her own, but I still didn't believe it...
I than put her back in her crib to have her reenact her moment...

Of course after she did this I had a nervous break down...my one source of power "the crib" had been taken away from me! What do I do?
Call my Mother :)
"Mom, what did you do...what do I do...this sucks..."
After Robbie came home and I showed him what his pretty princess was really capable of we decided to invest in a crib tent (see image below).

She's adjusted to it very well and we are all happy (especially Mom).
