Daddy's Girl

Isabel loves to hang out with her Daddy. As you can see she is so close to walking, she loves to walk along the couhces and walls. She has also been letting go of the couch and wall to try to walk, but always falls, she's getting better and it's great that she keeps trying.

Barnacle Baby

The only way for Robbie and I to really exchange how are days went is to take pictures, since our schedules are so insane and we never see each other. Every time one of us comes home we are shown what we did that day through pictures. Here's what Isabel and Robbie did that day... Isabel kept trying to grab at it so Robbie gave it to her, and here's what she did...

As you can see Isabel has become a pro at pulling herself up on things. She loves to pull up onto our entertainment center. She loves to leave her cute little hand prints all over the glass doors.

Sugar Pill

Isabel has been a lot of fun and our pride and joy, but there are times when she is what we call a "Sugar Pill". It means she's sweet and we love her to pieces, but she's kind of cranky. In this video you can see her two sides. Towards the end of the video she kind of whines and cries, but than jumps right back. This video was taken right before bedtime, so that might have had something to do with it.

Isabel has now learned how to pull herself up onto her bed. I woke up one morning to get her and there she was all ready to greet me.

Isabel has been learning to take naps in her crib now...so one afternoon I put her in her crib and let her put herself to sleep, instead she just hung out and talked to herself. I heard her cry a few times, but they weren't loud cries, so I just figured she was putting herself down. After about 15 minutes she was still just talking to herself, so I went in to see how she was doing and this is what I found...
She was just hanging out...

Robbie gave me a teddy bear when we were dating and I always kept it, but now it's being put to good use. It's about the same size as Isabel and she loves him. His name is Mr. Bear.

Sometimes she gets away from me...she loves to crawl into the bathroom and pull up onto the bathtub. Luckily for me she has shown no interest in the toilet. Yuck! Whenever she crawls up to the bathtub she says, "Da Da Da" because she knows that Daddy gives her bath time and she loves bath time.

Laura's Birthday

My GOLDEN Birthday was Friday, January 23rd. I turned 23! Wowsers! It was a lot of fun. Isabel helped me blow out my candles. I was actually surprised that she wasn't trying to grab at them.

Raspberries

Official Crawl

Isabel officially crawled on all fours 1.29.09! Yeah! We were so excited. Since than she has now learned how to stand up on the couch. She'll be walking in no time. Wowsers! Here is a video of her first crawl. I was at school at the time, but she gave me a repeated performance when I came home. Yeah!
