I AM SO EMBARRASSED
Well I am usually embarrassed at least once a day, but today I'm not only embarrassed because I placed my own thumb inside my son's bedroom door (yes that place where the hinges are) and then proceeded to shut my finger in the door, and while I was alarmed by the pressure I ripped it out of the door hinge instead of just opening the door. I would show you a picture, but I'd pass out. (seriously, I laid down after I did this because the pain and blood was too much to bare) oh and I'm a drama queen. Then I laughed at myself, because I am a
HUGE GIGANTIC COLOSSAL klutz.
Anyways the REAL reason that I am so embarrassed is because I haven't blogged since January. (That's pathetic). So my new goal is blog at least once
a day every 3 days. Especially since I have the CUTEST kids and am constantly taking pictures and videos of them and I
NEED HAVE to share them with
everyone the 2 people who follow my blog (My Mom and Robbie's Mom) (We miss you guys,
ALOT)
So here goes. Well I'll start with today and then show you what we've been up to the past 5 months (yikes!) Today I hosted a lunch. And since I'm a GINORMOUS (there's that word again) FREAK. I decided to host this lunch at a local park instead of my house, because the size of my
house shoebox (yes I stole that term for my apartment from Brianne because it very cleverly defines where I live) versus the amount of people that would have been in my house would have given me an aneurism. Well of course the weather tells me 20% chance of rain and a high of 59. But I live in Oregon. So when I showed up to the park 30 minutes early it didn't feel so bad, I thought, hmmm with a sweatshirt or a light jacket on it's fine and it should get warmer as the afternoon goes on. Well it ended up raining and it was probably about 40. Nice. Let's just say we were all freezing and our kids were soaked.
When we usually get together for lunch it lasts about 2-4 hours. This one lastest 1 hour and 30 minutes.
That was awesome...
Sorry I have no pictures of this disaster since my hands were too cold to hold my phone/camera.
On a brighter note. My kids handled the cold and rain just fine. James was laughing and talking in his stroller and Isabel was having fun playing in the rain. Thank you children for your great outlook on life :) or maybe they were just high on fresh air because we live in Oregon and NEVER EVER EVER EVER get out of our shoebox.
So here is an overload of pictures and videos of what we've been doing the last 5 months. I will start with the end of January...
