Isabel's First Christmas

We spent our Christmas break in Wisconsin. It was a lot of fun. Isabel received a lot of attention since she was the only baby there. She loved it!

Here are some pictures of our adventures in Neenah, Wisconsin. I will add more pictures later...

Funny story, I brought my camera hoping to take a picture, because of course who wants to spend $15 on one 5x7 photo, right? Well of course trying to be prepared I left the camera battery at my parents house in the outlet. I didn't realize this until we were two people away from taking the picture and it was already 7:50 p.m. and the line had been closed off. Oh yeah, and it was December 23rd. So I knew I didn't want to come back the next day. So, Isabel's sweet, sweet Grandma Bacon purchased this overly priced photo. Thanks MOM!

Her future looks so bright, she's gotta wear her shades.

Look! She stands all by herself. Well...not really...this is a photo of trickery. Grandpa Bacon would hold her up and than let her go at just the right moment. Don't worry, Isabel was not harmed while taking this photo.

Christmas Eve

Our family does a Christmas Eve program. Our longest tradition has been our hand puppet show. My dad reads out the story of Baby Jesus and we act it out. I know that we are all older than 12 years old now, but we still keep up the tradition. Robbie was so excited to be Joseph!

Greg was the Angel. He was excited too!

Isabel just found out that her middle name was after her Aunt Angela. She was so excited!

Greg playing some Christmas tunes on his guitar during our Christmas Eve program.

Isabel wanted to be cool like her Uncle Greg and play too.

Christmas Morning

Isabel was so excited to open presents.

Angela and I Christmas morning! Hotties!

Isabel received a beautiful Princess costume from her Uncle David. Here is her wearing the hat that goes with the costume.

Because of her lack or hair she looks like a conehead! Ha! We were laughing so hard.

She loved to cuddle in her reindeer blanket with her reindeer doll.

"I'm so excited!"

Long Time No See

I know it has been a very long time since I have posted anything on this blog. As you can see by my track record, I usually post a bunch of things once every month or so. I'm trying to be better, but with school and Isabel, my hands are full. Here are some pictures that range from December 6th (my last post) and now:

This video was taken on 12/10 right before we left for Wisconsin for Christmas. It's about a 2 minute video of Isabel playing and of course looking at the camera. This video is proof that Mom's video tape everything.

Crawling

Isabel has started to army crawl, well, sort of. But any new task a baby does is definitely worthy of being videotaped and posted.

Thanksgiving

Here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving Break. We flew to Denver, Colorado to visit The Smith's. Isabel did a very good job on the plane ride, I was very nervous. Here are a few pictures with her cousins:

This is Isabel with Diana and Tyler.

Here is Isabel with her new best friend Spencer. They had a lot of fun together during the break. I've never seen her laugh so hard.

All Wrapped Up

Isabel has been doing this new thing where she plays with the edge of her blanket, keeps a hold of it and proceeds to roll. We have to watch her very closely.

Don't worry, Mom saved the day.

Teddy Bear

Isabel loves this Teddy Bear. It's the same size as her.

Crazy

We went to check on Isabel before we went to bed and this was the position she was in.

Don't worry we moved her after we took these pictures.
