James William Smith

I'm proud and excited to announce that James William Smith finally made an appearance 6 DAYS after his due date (July 22nd)! Ahhhhh! He was born Thursday, July 28th at 11:05 PM. He weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 21 inches long.

We had to get one last picture of my HUGE belly before getting ready, and yes I'm contracting in this picture that's why my face screams pain.

Daddy and his mini me. Although he has my dark hair his features are totally his fathers' :)

He has very dark brown hair just like me :)

Isabel's first time meeting James. She loves him to pieces. It's so sweet.

4th of July

For 4th of July this year we went to Banks for the fireworks. Here are some pictures of us watching the fireworks.

*remember I am pregnant...

The Saturday before her Birthday we had a little get together at the park with some of Isabel's friends. Here's a picture of us:

Circle

Isabel has been learning her shapes lately and today when we were having coloring time with her friends, Dawson, Harper and Beckham she learned to draw a circle. Of course I got all excited and we all said "Yeah" for Isabel. Than she....well just watch the video and you'll see.

For some of you who can't speak the language of "Isabel" she was saying yelling "circle."

Hair

Well as most of you have know and have seen with your own eyes, our daughter hasn't been graced with a whole lot of hair. But......duh duh duh duuuuhhh.......she finally went in for a haircut, and I don't mean a haircut because the back is growing longer than the front (creating a mullet). She went in for an actual hairstyle. YEAH! Here are some pictures of her with her new haircut and her favorite new Valentine's Day Dress from Grandma and Grandpa Bacon :) Thanks guys!

Here's a picture from the front.
Here's a picture from the back.

Side view. Sorry I couldn't get her to say "cheese" in any photos.

Balancing Act

Isabel and I were hanging out on the couch the other morning and I look over at her and she's balancing her book on her legs. I know this might not sound very interesting and you probably now feel sorry for me that this was something interesting that happened today. (Probably the most interesting thing). But, I had to take a picture of my random child and show it to all of you.

Merry Christmas

So since Christmas is fast approaching and of course I completely spaced sending out Christmas Cards, instead I'm going to post it all here on our blog...

Robbie is currently attending Optometry school in Forest Grove, OR. He's in his second year and excited to finish up his finals this week.

I am currently a stay at home Mom, trying to keep up with Isabel. She's always one step ahead of me.

Isabel is 2 1/2 years old now and keeps me on top of my toes. She is a very busy toddler. Robbie and I thought she'd be our little tomboy, but she has turned into quite the girly-girl. She HAS to wear a dress everyday, her plastic princess shoes and dances around singing "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream..." from Sleeping Beauty. Except she only sings "I know you" over and over again. It's so cute. I have yet to get it on tape and as soon as I do I shall post it.
