Siblings
This video was taken before Christmas time. I love this video because it shows how Isabel and James interact with each other all the time. Isabel is always being told to get off of James. She loves him soo much. Sometimes too much. He adores her too. Anything and everything she does, he's watching and always interested. The only time they don't get along is when James pulls her hair. Ha.

Kinney!
Isabel loves Kinley! She's like the baby sister Isabel might never have. Yesterday Kinley came over to play and I had the camera out because I was uploading pictures. Of course, Isabel insisted I take a picture and also insisted that Kinley say, "Cheese." Ha.
Anywho...later that evening while I was uploading pictures I took a look back at the last 12 months and found some pictures of Isabel and Kinley taken FOREVER ago (at least it feels that way).
I thought these girls were too cute, I had to post them.
I love Kinley's face in this picture. I would be scared too if I was sitting on Isabel's lap (she's crazy!)

Very into whatever they were watching on TV.

Wow, so much has changed in the last year. These two cuties are getting so big!

Isabel's Christmas Program
She's growing up too fast! Today was Isabel's first Christmas program. I couldn't believe it. I feel very very old. Very old. I made sure the camera battery was all charged the night before so that I could record it. My parents would record our events, and now I'm old enough to record my child's events. Wow, I just had a flash of me with a walker. Sorry for my ramblings, but I feel so old.
Anywho...this is about Isabel, not me feeling old. How many times can I use the word old!
So if you know Isabel you'd think that she would be the wild crazy kid in the program. Kind of like last year:
*As a side note. This is a video of the Bacon Family's Christmas Eve Program. We each have to do a special performance. My brother, Greg, (the one singing) decided to sing "The 12 Days of Christmas." We weren't allowed to sing with him, it was his "time to shine." My Dad is to the left recording this amazing performance and Uncle Bob and my Mom are on the left with Angela, David and I on the right. Robbie is recording and of course Isabel isn't that hard to spot.
Now this is a video of her this Christmas. Her first Christmas performance. She was the VERY silent, but oh so cute!
My favorite part is when one of her classmates is doing the actions and mistakenly bumps her and she says, "Don't push me!" What a scrooge. :)

Gingerbread House
Gingerbread houses. Yummy! A great family tradition. My Mom has one of those fancy Pampered Chef Gingerbread House molds:
So we would make fresh gingerbread houses, with the chimney and everything....but since I'm cheap and too tired...(I just had a baby...4 months ago...) yes, I will be using that excuse till he's at least a year old. I just purchased a pre-made gingerbread house:
It wasn't this exact one, but you get the idea...
It included the frosting, candy, the house was already put together and everything. Yes, I know, my Mom is one special patient woman. I'm not quite there yet, but maybe someday...
Because of lack of counter space and the fact that Isabel has been asking to eat her gingerbread house every 5 seconds since we made it, I decided to get some pictures and then let her go to town...
Here's Isabel excited and waiting to eat her house. Sadly it won't be seeing Christmas Day.
I put the frosting on (I know it's awesome). and she put the candy on.
This is how she ate it...ha.
This is a YEAH, thumbs up!

Father and Son
When Isabel was a new baby Robbie had just graduated from undergrad and I was still going to school full-time, so Robbie was a part time stay at home Dad during the day and went to work at night. So Isabel received a lot of Daddy time. He loved it.
Anywho...this time around with James it's been a very different experience, since Robbie is gone ALL THE TIME (oh the life of an optometry student). But as soon as Robbie does make an appearance at home he grabs the kids and cuddles and plays. Here's a cute picture of James with his Daddy.
And here's a cute video of Robbie making James laugh. He always makes him laugh.

Photo Shoot
After seeing Maren's Photo shoot on Anna's cute blog and her cute pictures of Maren. I thought, "that is a grrrreat idea!" So I'm going to do what I always do and not come up with my own idea. (Thank you Anna for the great idea :)) So I took advantage of Pacific's beautiful campus (especially in the fall) and took some pictures of Isabel on campus. I wanted to do them before all of the leaves were gone and while the weather was still nice. Since Robbie is studying studying studying. I brought James with us. He did great. Only a little crying towards the end, probably because he was hungry.
I realized after taking pictures that I can't ask Isabel to say cheese. The results were a scrunched nose and big teeth. Instead I would have her tell me she loves me :) Ha. It actually produced a much more natural smile.
So after 120 photos (thank goodness for digital). Here are some of the ones I favored.
I can't decide which one I want to print to put on the wall? What do you think?

But of course no photo shoot would be complete with the funny face pictures:

Trick or Treat
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Halloween 2008
This was Isabel as a pumpkin and I was a pumpkin farmer (ha ha!)
Yes...James and I repeated the same costume from 2 years ago. Poor James is already subject to hand me downs...
Experiment 626
Isabel dressed up as Stitch for Trunk or Treat and our PAVA (Pacific University) Party.

Isabel dressed up as "a little lady" when we went Trick or Treating at Robbie's school. This was actually my costume for my first dance recital.
