Easter

The weekend after Graduation was Easter! Here's Isabel in her Pink Bunny Ears.

She got her very own cell phone from Grandma and Grandpa Bacon in her Easter basket. Hopefully she'll stay away from Mom and Dad's cell phones now...

So excited!


We didn't really "hide" the eggs since she was only 10 months old at the time. We basically scattered them throughout the front yard. We filled them with puffs and Cherrios, some of them were filled with candy for Mom and Dad.

Knee

So...I've been running everyday for the last 2 weeks (except Sunday of course) and this Monday after running again my knees are killing me. It feels like I have arthritis in my knees, they constantly ache and just hurt. This also happened to me after I started running again 6 weeks after Isabel was born? If anyone has any idea on how to fix this problem or has had this problem let me know what to do.

Other than that everything is going great here in Rexburg, Idaho. The weather has finely started to warm up. It was a beautiful weekend. Later I will post some pictures of us at the park.....

Graudation

I did it. I have finally graduated with a Bachelor's degree. Wowsers! Here are some pictures from the big day...

Bacon children (sans Gregory Charles). I really wish you could have been there. You were missed. As you can see David is a little taller than Angela, soon he will pass me up as well. I give it 6 more months.

Lady in Red. So I got a new dress for graduation and the picture online was a dark red and even the title of the color was dark red. This is what came in the mail...wowsers bright cherry red. It was fun.

Camping

For Christmas my parents got Robbie a tent. He's really excited about going camping this summer. In fact, he was so excited when the tent came in the mail, that he decided to set it up in our home with Isabel. All this was done while I was at school...

First Robbie cleared out everything in the living room and placed the tent protector down (?)

Bath

Isabel loves bath time.

She's still a bald eagle, but has a little bit of hair growing on the back of her head. It makes her look like a little duckling.

Update

Wow. It's already been 2 months since my last post. I'm ashamed of myself. I'm sorry for the delay.

Well since the last time I've posted...March 11th....I have officially graduated from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Communications (emphasis in Advertising). It was a very hard last 8 months, but well worth it. Now instead of being a full-time student, wife and mother I can focus on just full-time mother and wife. Hmmm...I've come to find being a full-time mother is a little more challenging mentally than full-time school. In the last few months Isabel has found her voice, and she's been using it. She'll just randomly scream at the top of her lungs, because naturally we look and she get's her attention (now you understand why it can be mentally challenging) We are trying to break her of the habit, by not looking when she screams like that, but it's enough to drive you insane. Some mother's have told me that after awhile you won't even notice the sound, but I'm still adjusting.

Robbie has started his job at Merrill Lawn Sprinklers. They do landscaping and sprinkler systems. He works long days and comes home very dirty, but he's having a good time.

I've now also added part-time secretary to my list of duties. I'm the new secretary at Merrill Lawn Sprinklers (yes, the same place Robbie works). We know the owner and his secretary never showed up, so he asked if I wanted to do it. The best part is I get to bring Isabel with me. She's learned to adjust to her new surroundings very well. She's a great little helper.

Isabel is still growing. Every morning I get her from her bed I tell her to stop growing and be a baby again, but she just smiles and does something new everyday. She just recently grew some teeth. Her two bottom ones. She hadn't really been showing any signs of teething (runny nose, crying, discomfort, restless, etc) but than this past Sunday we noticed them. Yeah! Hopefully the rest will come in the same way these two did, without any sleepless nights or crying and pain (knock on wood).
